Up-and-coming star, Andrea Fonseka, is also one of the models in Deal or No Deal. When asked how she felt about being the next big thing, she said, “I am really flattered and honoured that Singapore has embraced me so well. I am just living my dream and very amazed by it.”

Since we were on the topic of living your dreams, Youth.SG was rather sure that the hosts once had dreams too. And so, we decided to kaypo a little about their childhood dreams. Michelle confessed that she wanted to be a vet. “But, after my rabbit died and I bawled, I did not want to see any animals die again.” Utt wanted to be a doctor, while Fonseka wanted to be a archaeologist because she loved dinosaurs. “As I grew up, I wanted to be on TV though, so here I am today.” Fonseka happily added.

Michelle was then asked if marrying Shaun was a dream that she would like to relieve over and over again, she laughed and exclaimed, “No! Once is enough.”

The trio is looking forward to having a lot of fun together. If you are wondering what kind of hosts they will be, all said that they wanted to be a part of the contestant’s journey. “I want to make it light and friendly, to walk this journey with them. When people want to live their dreams, but can’t, we will keep encouraging them.” Michelle said.

As the three come from different kinds of background, some of us may wonder what they will be doing to be more Singaporean in this local show. Utt explained, "It defeats the purpose to be something we are not. Even though we are catering to the local market, I don't believe in doing anything more different than what I already am to be more singaporean. "
