GRIP is a game designed for diabetic children to help them understand and manage their own condition.
In the game, the gamer plays the role of a top agent against the evil Dr. Glucko.
The game simulates what one would experience with unbalanced sugar levels and requires players to give the correct medication and medicine at the right time.
GRIP can also be tailored to reflect the patient’s present physical conditions and enables parents to keep an eye on how their kids are learning to deal with with their illness.
This game was launched in Netherlands this year and won a top innovation award there. It is expected to arrive in Singapore by this year’s end.
Jorge says, “Even though I am not diabetic, I would love to play this game as well. I love the concept and idea of this game and how it can help more diabetic patients.”
