International publisher Marshall Cavendish has launched the first-ever national writing competition in search of Singapore’s chick lit writers. The competition is open to all female Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
Held in conjunction with the launch of its first Asian Chic collection by three Filipina writers (two of whom are Singapore-based), Marshall Cavendish is hoping to find the first Singaporean Asian Chic author from the competition to add to its collection.

Competition begins on Nov 15, 2008 and will end on Jan 31, 2009. Results will be announced on Feb 28, 2009
