One thing we've discovered about ourselves over here at Youth.SG is that we're lousy at keeping secrets. If we've got something good, we've just got to spill.
Anyway, what we've been politely jabbering about for the past minute or so, are the Youth.SGFEED ME campaign music videos. If, like us, you've seen how truly awesome these MVs directed by Boo Junfeng are, you'd know just how heavy it is a burden to keep us from sharing these with the rest of the world. But we've forsworn restraint. Our minds are made up.
Yes. We shall unleash one new music video one day at a time.
Starting from today, that is. So, Youth.SG reader, your reward for trooping through a dreadful Monday like the soldier you are, is the first FEED ME MV to come your way:
All These People (Call This Love) The Fire Fight + Joakim Gomez
CLOWN MEETS CLOWN
You'd hardly have guessed that the shoot for the narrative bit took place on a sunny day along Orchard Road, what with the desaturated colour treatment that the MV's baked in since. Joakim didn't just dress up as one clown (yes, that is him in the clown suit); he dressed up as two. And the balloons he carried around came delivered to us in a bunch. How cool is that? At Junfeng's command, the Youth.SG obediently bought sunblock and released helium out of a red balloon very slowly so we could fill it up with the dense carbon dioxide of Joyce's lungs next.
One thing we didn't plan for was that one minute is an awfully short time for a music video, so a number of very cool scenes were cut out.
We can tell you, for instance, that three of The Fire Fight lads bravely dished out free hugs for the day, which you didn't see above. Iain even did the presidential thing by hugging babies a baby. Then there was Josh, who had a sudden urge to dance with Jbarks. Anyway, you've just got to pay us a visit at the FEED ME blog for really cool behind-the-scenes video outtakes. We'll unleash them very soon... like tomorrow!
