I recently bumped into my ex-boss, who has a habit of saying some very thought-provoking things. On this occasion, he said: "Why do we regard youth as the future of Singapore? The way we talk about them... it makes them seem like they are not here."

Which, we all know, is anything but. None of us can say that we've had it made. We are working towards greatness all the time. But we are right here. We have arrived, we are making things happen and making this very moment an exciting one. So here's a reminder: believe in yourself. The future is happening all right, but it starts now.
