 You roam the streets with pangs of hunger. Begging for money and food, your clothes are barely enough to keep you warm in the night. You shiver. And the hunger just gets worse. The exorbitant prices you face are but the result of the drought that has withered away your food sources. Your children deserve a better life but how will it be possible? Faced with grim reality, just how far would you go? What will tomorrow bring? Will you even see tomorrow?

The Singaporean eye rarely sees such devastation on such a wide scale. It doesn't take an expert to know that most Singaporean youth today have never experienced conditions of poverty so gripping that the stench lingers in your hair, your clothes, and your mind.
This grave situation is reality for so many, who are not so far away.
Come June 17 th, 1,000 young people will be coming together to make this their reality over 30 hours.
