With about a month before the circuit breaker ends, here is a collection of shows to check out!

We are more than halfway through the circuit breaker period and some of you may have already cleared your backlog of shows that you wanted to check out.

But no worries! Here are a few more highly bingeable shows to check out on Netflix while we #StayHomeForSG.

1. Swoon to the syrupy romance of The King: Eternal Monarch

The King: Eternal Monarch heralds the highly-anticipated return of Korean drama sweetheart Lee Min-ho back on our screens.

Min-ho stars as the young, dashing King of Corea, an alternate version of modern Korea where it is a constitutional monarchy. He comes across a portal to our world’s Korea and finds a hot-headed detective, played by Korean superstar Kim Go-eun, whom he believes saved his life while he was young.

With a dazzling wardrobe of glitzy costumes and gorgeous sets, the show promises the sweetest of romance between its two leads, as they uncover a sinister plot that could threaten the King’s world.

2. Be thrilled by the twists and turns of Money Heist

Perhaps already a part of your bing-ing diet, Money Heist has soared up lists to become one of Singapore’s most popular Netflix series.

Now in its fourth season, the Spanish thriller details two exciting high stakes heists - and how everything that goes wrong can go wrong. The thriller has become a worldwide phenomenon with its cast of memorable characters and heart-pounding action sequences.

Each episode will leave you reaching for the next episode button as they weave and reveal the complicated web of relationships and motives between its characters.

3. Laugh along with the hit sitcom Community

The much-talked about American sitcom has finally arrived on our region’s Netflix service, with all six seasons now available for streaming.

Filled with quirky humour and a loveable cast of characters, Community follows a group of misfits - ranging from a former lawyer to an elderly millionaire - and their zany adventures through community college. They may start off budding heads but the group soon develops an endearing friendship that viewers can’t help but want more of.

With each episode at less than half an hour, the laugh-a-minute riot might just be the perfect lunch buddy or that much needed short break away from the work at home.

4. Hours of educational documentaries for the whole family

While not technically on Netflix, the streaming service has recently released a whole slew of documentaries to beef up your general knowledge.

These series include the succinct Explained series, demystifying topics from cricket to the stock market, and the lush eight-parter Our Planet, taking viewers to the world’s deepest wildernesses.

5. Be Swept Away To Distant Worlds With Netflix’s Collection of Studio Ghibli Films

Although the COVID-19 pandemic has cancelled all of our travel plans, it does not mean that we have to give up on visiting distant lands any time soon.

The past few months have seen Netflix made available on its platform the celebrated works of Japanese animation studio Studio Ghibli. Look forward to being swept away by the whimsical worlds of Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro, or be swept along by the thrilling adventures of Princess Mononoke and Howl’s Moving Castle

These celebrated classics are sure to bring a smile to your faces with their gorgeous animations and adorable cast of characters!

In between your binging sessions, do remember to make time for exercises and stretches to keep yourself healthy!
