Lilly Singh concludes her 'How To Be A Bawse' tour in Singapore with bang!
The perfect amalgamation of wit and charisma, inspirational YouTube star, Lilly Singh, turned up the crowd at Kallang Theatre on Wednesday evening for her How To Be A Bawse tour.
This time, Lilly, whom last came to Singapore two years ago, returned with a chock-full of motivational messages from her new book, How to Be a Bawse: A Guide to Conquering Life, laced with her signature humour.
Coupled with excellent visuals and her lovable sense of humor, Lilly filled the hearts of her Singapore fans with the purest form of joy throughout the show.
The Canada-born entertainer made a grand entrance and had absolutely zero trouble getting crowd going on their feet. She exuded nothing but positive vibes that are inherently contagious at her show, teaching her beloved fans exactly how to be "Bawse", her very own rendition of the word "boss".
Lilly kicked off the show with a video that explains her definition of a "Bawse", followed by a series of humorously articulated steps we should take to becoming one.
Every time she asks her audiences a relatable question, fans were screaming their answers, hoping for a chance to get invited for on-stage activities and interactions with Lilly.
It is one thing to capture the hearts of your already charmed fans. But it's a whole new challenge to capture the hearts of cynical and doubtful parents. And Lilly did it with complete confidence.
While Lilly attracted a strong crowd of young female attendees, she made sure that her show's content was well-tailored for everyone in the crowd, which included fathers, boyfriends or brothers.
Her attempt to inspire youthful fans worked extremely well in her favour, as she continuously engaged the audience of young teenagers and adults with relatable yet humorous questions and opinions throughout her hour-long show.
At the end of the show, Lilly surprised her Singaporeans fans with a request to record a footage of them for a feature on her vlogs. She also orchestrated a shot with the help of Singapore fans, holding up placards she prepared prior to the show.
While the Superwoman's talent in charming the socks off her audience may seem a little far-fetched for one to achieve, Lilly made sure her show reminded us all that she started from being a nobody as well.
As Lilly said herself, if you want to make it at the top, you have to start at the bottom.
